The rules of a classic Myanmar card game explained in simple terms
Card dealing and point counting
Shan Koe Mee is normally played with 3 cards. The dealer (Banker) deals 3 face-down cards to each player. Only the last digit of the total of all three cards counts as the score — for example, 7 + 8 + 5 = 20 means a score of 0, and 9 + 6 + 4 = 19 means a score of 9. A score of 9 is the highest possible.
Special hand — in Shan Koe Mee, if all three cards are number cards (no face cards above 10) and the total's last digit is 9, it is called a Natural Nine and counts as the highest ranking hand. If a player holds three face cards (all worth less than 10), there is also a rule where those cards can be declared and scored differently.

Banker Role and Management
